For the picturesque red carpet at the Palais des Festivals, the Savages actress wore a striking burgundy chiffon gown by Gucci. The geometric neckline showcased Lively's bronzed, toned shoulders while the high side slit allowed her to flash her long, lean legs. The two-tone pleated dress also featured an open back and fitted waist.
Lively, 26, paired the gown with statement jewelry. Most impressive were the Lorraine Schwartz ruby drop earrings—the 25-carat jewels hung on a pink-diamond up-the-ear piece. However, her ears didn't have all of the fun: The Gossip Girl alum wore a diamond flower bracelet and diamond vine bracelet, also by Lorraine Schwartz.

Lively, who is the face of Gucci Premiere women's fragrance, wore her hair in a braided high ponytail. While the hair around her face was smooth and frizz-free, the plait had a bed-head, undone quality to it.
To balance the darkness of her bordeaux gown, Lively, who is serving as the ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, kept her makeup on the lighter side. She wore a brown smoky eye with black liner all around her rims and paired it with a light pink lip color.
