Brittany Murphy Photos Of The Fallen Actress Hollywood Life

Brittany Anne-Murphy was born on Nov. 10, 1997, and died on Dec. 20, 2009. In the 32-years of her life, the starlet left a huge impact on the world of movies, television, and music. The Atlanta-born, Los Angeles-raised (by way of Edison, New Jersey) starlet first began acting at a young age. She landed her first major role when she was 13, appearing in the short-lived sitcom, ‘Drexell’s Class.’ From there, she would appear on several television series, including ‘Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,’ ‘Blossom,’ ‘Fraiser,’ ‘Boy Meets World,’ and ‘Sister, Sister.’ She would experience her breakthrough in 1995 by playing Tai in the cult classic, ‘Clueless.’ Her career would continue to pick up speed, and she would appear in films like ‘Girl, Interrupted,’ ‘Freeway,’ and ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous.’ She also built a strong resume as a voice actor, most notably as Luanne on ‘King of the Hill.’

Brittany died in 2009 due to pneumonia, with anemia and iron deficiency contributing her death. Her then-husband, screenwriter Simon Monjack, would die from similar causes five months after Brittany’s death.
