The newly single 44-year-old star shared a sexy selfie on Instagram Thursday, revealing her derriere while sunbathing.

“California Dreaming,” Klum captioned her photo.

Back in August, the longtime Project Runway host told PEOPLE, “I tan topless because I saw my mom do that.”

The mother of four’s latest nearly naked photo is a stark contrast to her Halloween costume this year.

Klum transformed into the werewolf in Michael Jackson’s classic 1982 music video for “Thriller” and was covered head-to-toe in prosthetic fur and makeup.

“It takes a long time to lay the prosthetics but then putting it all together, it took seven hours,” she told PEOPLE at her 18th annual Halloween party.

And when she’s not tanning with little to no clothing or getting all dressed up for her favorite spooky holiday, Klum can be found lounging in her go-to outfit.

“If you have a great pair of jeans, a great blouse, a pair of heels — boom,” she told PEOPLE in August. “It can be that simple and put together.”

The season 16 finale of Project Runway airs Thursday (8 p.m. ET) on Lifetime.
