No Doubt Planning a Supergroup Without Gwen Stefani

Getting the band back together — almost! No Doubt members Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal and Adrian Young — sans frontwoman Gwen Stefani — are joining forces with AFI singer Davey Havok to form a new supergroup, Billboard reports.

The foursome doesn’t have a name or a record label yet, but they have already completed an album and are being managed by Green Day’s Pat Magnarella.

Stefani, who last toured with the band in 2015, recently hired music heavyweight Irving Azoff as her new manager and will release her third solo album (her first since 2006), This Is What the Truth Feels Like, on March 18.

The Voice coach released the raw breakup ballad “Used to Love You” in October following her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, and on Friday, February 12, she released another emotional track, “Make Me Like You.”

No Doubt’s Young hinted that the band were going their separate ways last year. “We’re in a little bit of limbo right now,” he said. “So we’ll see where that takes us.”
