Robin Gibb Shockingly Thin: Bee Gees Co-Founder Weight Loss PHOTOS

Singer and songwriter Robin Gibb, co-founder of the Bee Gees, appears shockingly thin after a recent hospital stay for colon inflammation.

The 61-year-old musician had emergency surgery a year ago to remove part of his intestine. His twin brother Maurice Gibb died in 2003 after his intestine became twisted and he developed complications that proved fatal.

Following their brother’s sudden death, Barry Gibb and Robin ended the group after 45 years, having sold an amazing 220 million records worldwide.

The surviving brothers regrouped in 2009, and have since appeared on Dancing with the Stars and American Idol.

Robin, “an ardent vegan and teetotaler” by his own admission, is married to Dwina Murphy Gibb. They have a son Robin-John. He has two other children, Spencer and Melissa, from a previous marriage.
